Captivating colours and dynamic flow

Each artwork at Original Fluid Artistry by myself, Christine Lamb-Parkes, is a one-of-a-kind creation, born from the magic of fluid acrylic paint. My inspiration comes directly from the interplay of colour and the mesmerizing flow that emerges as the paint moves across the canvas. Prepare to be drawn into a world where every swirl and blend is an invitation to explore, think and debate.

Pink Cascade. A fusion of pinks and golds on a lavender base. A Dutch pour on a 30 x 80 cm canvas. 

Turbulence in Blue. A private commission on a 80 x 60 cm canvas. 

Ice Blue Wave. 50 x 50 cm modern minimal created using the tilt method on a transparent base.

Night Fire. 50 x 50 cm canvas. Rich reds with gold and yellow highlights. A modern minimal created using the tilt method on a black background.  

Turbulent Sunset. 50 x 50 cm canvas. A Chaos pour in pinks and blues with golden highlights. 

Night Storm. A 28 x 35 cm Chaos pour. This is quite dark and moody. Dark storm clouds tinged slightly by the setting sun and set ablaze by lightning. 

Sunset on Gold Shimmer. A small 25 x 30 cm Dutch pour, created in pinks and purples. It has been embellished with gold spray highlights. 

Ice Spirit. A modern minimal piece using cool blues with a touch of gold. This measures 50 x 50 cm.

Gold Burst. Another one of my favourite techniques, the Chaos pour. A 40 x 60 cm canvas. A Burst of complementary and contrasting colours with a gold burst to draw the eye in.

It's not just about a canvas 

I was approached by a local craftsman, who's skill is in refurbishing, restoring and creating from scratch, guitars. He had seen some of my canvases, and had even made a purchase. His enquiry was to if I could add my artwork onto his guitars? I gave it a go, the first one being a classic Spanish acoustic guitar. I was somewhat delighted and pleased with the end result, and so was he. Since that first guitar I have completed a number of commissions for his various clients. Feed back is positive. I adore working on the guitars as I have to think outside of the box, and work with some unusual shapes, adapting techniques slightly.  My dream is to see one of my creations being played on stage by a famous guitarist.  

The images you see below are as they are when I hand them back to him, prior to him working his magic and adding all the necessary strings, electronic etc.
